Career In 2014, Tolman starred in the first season of the FX Black comedy crime drama Fargo. Fargo is a movie starring experienced actors Billy Bob Thornton Martin Freeman Bob Odenkirk. The movie was influenced by the Coen brothers' 1996 film with the exact same name. Tolman received praise for her performance as Minnesota policeman Molly Solverson, with Vanity Fair noting the following "calmly and certainly took over the whole performance". Critics' Choice Television Award, Best Supporting Actress (Movie/Miniseries) as well as Golden Globe awards were announced to Tolman for her performance. Tolman was cast in an episode of guest-starring as romance writer Abby Berman on The Mindy Show the following year.
